Relaxation Station

Health Education now offers a Relaxation Station!

Students can stop by anytime the office is open and utilize our free Relaxation Station year round. Our relaxation area includes two massaging back rests, one full body massager, a neck and foot massager, and massagers that can be used by friends on each other. The Relaxation Station also has books about "not stressing the small stuff" and some books on humor. We encourage students to utilize this new free resource!

Stress Management MP3 Audio Downloads


Stress affects all people and learning how to effectively manage stressors is a skill that most people need to acquire. Stress affects people in many different ways and can even affect the ability to study and do well in classes. Health Education offers several hands-on techniques to combat stressors because not one thing works for every person. Students should keep in mind that even techniques used regularly can sometimes be ineffective due to distraction or level of stress. For this reason, it is a good idea for people to have a few different stress relief/reduction skills to rely on. The following MP3s are free for students to download and, if used regularly, can help students to effectively cope with stress.
